Dr. Donald O. Fedder was awarded an honorary lifetime membership to MdPHA at the 2002 Annual Meeting, in recognition of his years of service to the organization as a member, Board member, and two-time President. Additionally, the student poster competition, held annually during National Public Health Week, was named in his honor.
